Dr. Ashish P. Sharma

Dr. Ashish P. Sharma earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Christian Dental College in Ludhiana, India, in 2004. He went on to receive a Master of Science in Dentistry with advanced training in Implant Dentistry from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2014. Dr. Sharma completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 2018.

Dr. Sharma has served as a full-time Assistant Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at both Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. In these roles, he provided comprehensive care, performing a wide range of major oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including advanced implant surgery.

He is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Sharma has published in several peer-reviewed scientific journals and currently serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Sharma is deeply committed to oral and maxillofacial surgery and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident as they place their trust in his experience and expertise. He is passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care to every patient.

Dr. Sharma chose to practice at Precision Oral Surgery & Implants because it allows him to serve patients in a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment while maintaining a healthy work–life balance. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and six-year-old son, hiking, outdoor photography, traveling, playing the guitar, and serving others through his church.
