Your First Visit

First Visit

Your initial appointment will include a detailed review of your diagnosis and a discussion of available treatment options. In some cases, surgery can be performed on the same day as the consultation. However, your medical history will be reviewed, and a treatment plan will be finalized prior to scheduling the procedure. If same-day surgery is required, please ensure you have a designated driver available.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

To ensure a smooth and efficient visit, please bring the following:

  • A referral slip and any relevant x-rays, if applicable.
  • A comprehensive list of all medications you are currently taking.
  • Your medical or dental insurance information for claim submissions.

Important Information

  • Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for any surgical appointments.
  • For patients undergoing IV anesthesia or sedation, a review of your medical history and a physical examination will be conducted during the appointment.
  • Pre-Surgery Preparation: Do not eat or drink anything for at least eight hours before surgery. Additionally, arrange for an adult to drive you home afterward.
  • If you have a medical condition that may impact your surgery, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or other concerns, please inform the office in advance.
